JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. –
A Georgia company that uses real human body parts in its traveling exhibit has agreed to use a public disclosure notice for its St. Louis show.
Atlanta-based Premier Exhibitions Inc. sponsors "Bodies ... The Exhibition." It is scheduled to open in October at the Saint Louis Galleria.
Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster said Monday the company has agreed to include a statement in its advertisements that "Premier cannot independently verify the provenance of the human remains in this exhibit."
A longer disclaimer about the origins of the body parts is to be posted on the company's website and at the exhibit.
Premier Exhibitions says the disclosure should help the public better understand its specimens.
