St. Louis, MO – St. Louis plays host tomorrow to the 2003 Michelob Ultra USA Women's Marathon. The elite field of 55 women runners will compete tomorrow morning for the national championship.
President of the St. Louis marathon, Nancy Lieberman, says the women will run on the same course that women marathoners will compete on next year when St. Louis hosts the 2004 US Women's Olympic marathon trials.
Tomorrow's national championship is part of the Spirit of St. Louis marathon and family fitness weekend.
More than 6,000 runners and walkers are expected to take part in the various races and activities affiliate with the weekend's events.
