By AP/St. Louis Public Radio

ST. LOUIS – Sentencing will be in January for a St. Louis man who admitted to selling a large volume of counterfeit merchandise.

The U.S. Attorney's office in St. Louis says 55-year-old Dirk Robinson pleaded guilty Wednesday to one felony count of trafficking in counterfeit goods.

Robinson sold items through a retail business called "Jeans and Things" operated at his home. Those goods falsely carried the names of clothing and shoe companies such as Nike, LaCoste, Polo Ralph Lauren and Timberland.
