St. Louis police officer dies

St. Louis, MO – A Saint Louis city police officer has died of injuries she suffered in a June crash of her police cruiser.

Danielle Livingston was 29 and the mother of two boys. Her vehicle crashed while she was responding to a store burglar alarm - the accident broke her neck, leaving her paralyzed.

Livingston had been hospitalized since falling unconscious December 14th. The exact cause of death has not been determined.

St. Louis Police Lt. Col. Tim Reagan says the death of this "tremendous officer" is a "huge loss."
