St. Louis Public Radio’s Don Marsh and Linda Lockhart were recently honored by two venerable press associations. Linda was honored as a Living Legend by the Greater St. Louis Association of Black Journalists, while Don was named as one of three Media Persons of the Year by the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Linda was a founder of the St. Louis black journalists' organization and was the second secretary of the National Association of Black Journalists. At St. Louis Public Radio, she continues to innovate as our Public Insight Network analyst and outreach specialist.
Don, who currently anchors “St. Louis on the Air,” was recognized for his long and distinguished career and will be “toasted and roasted” at the Press Club’s Annual Gala funding the organizations various grants and scholarships.
