1. Northside developer McKee leaves city taxes unpaid.

Northside Regeneration owns 15-hundred acres in St. Louis.

But as St. Louis Public Radio’s Maria Altman discovered... developer Paul McKee’s company has not paid property taxes on most of that land since 2012.

2. Missouri tax credits helped McKee buy land; now city of St. Louis wants to buy it.

Developer Paul McKee owns more than half of the land within St. Louis’ proposed footprint for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Now the city needs to buy it.

But as St. Louis Public Radio’s Maria Altman reports... McKee’s land purchases were heavily subsidized with state tax credits.

3. Small town bank has big stake in McKee's north city project.

A big lender of developer Paul McKee’s is intervening in a lawsuit against Northside Regeneration.

As St. Louis Public Radio’s Maria Altman reports... the Bank of Washington wants to prevent the court from taking control of the project.
