Stanislaw Skrowaczewski conducted the St. Louis Symphony in concerts February 3 and 4 in Powell Hall in a program including Weber's Oberon Overture, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 with St. Louis Symphony concertmaster David Halen as soloist, and Schubert's Symphony No. 9 in C major, D. 944, The Great.

On Feb. 4, during the intermission of St. Louis Public Radio’s live broadcast of the St. Louis Symphony, Robert Peterson spoke with David Halen about the concerto he had just performed, his role as concertmaster, and the orchestra's upcoming tours. (Listen to their conversation above).

Mary Edwards is a producer for St. Louis Public Radio's broadcast program, "St. Louis Symphony."
