Stimulus won't provide quick fix for St. Louis public transit

St. Louis – It's a paradox for many American cities, including St. Louis. Just as demand for bus and train service is rising, the economy is forcing many transit agencies to cut back.

And transit advocates say the recently-passed federal stimulus package will not provide much relief
