TheBetter Business Bureau received more than 200 complaints nationwide about an auto warranty marketer based in suburban St. Louis.

Stop Repair Bills of St. Peters also is getting an "F" grade from the Better Business Bureau.

The company markets auto repair plans, but Bill Smith, a trade practice investigator with the BBB, says customers are missing the fine print.

"These people are finding there all kind of loopholes of things that are not covered that they thought were covered or exclusions," Smith says.

Smith says the company is showing similar complaints to those US Fidelis customers made in the past.

That company agreed to stop marketing such service plans in 2009 after a court case and filed for bankruptcy last year.

An attorney for Stop Repair Bills did not immediately return phone calls this afternoon.
