The St. Louis Symphony will make its debut at the BBC Proms in September at Royal Albert Hall.

A prestigious date has been officially added to the St. Louis Symphony's first European tour in 14 years - an appearance at Royal Albert Hall in London for the BBC Proms.

Here is the program for the  Sept. 4 show, which is the first time the Symphony will appear at the Proms, though David Robertson has conducted the "Last Night" concert. Christian Tetzlaff is the featured violinist on the tour:

  • BRAHMS:  Tragic Overture
  • BEETHOVEN:  Violin Concerto
  • SCHOENBERG: Five Pieces for Orchestra
  • GERSHWIN:  An American in Paris

It's the fourth debut performance for the Symphony on the European tour. They'll also perform at the Musikfest Berlin | Berliner Festspiele, the Lucerne Festival, and at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
