Teen Dies After Being Hit With Skateboard

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, Mo. – A St. Louis area boy who asked to be
hit on the head with a skateboard - and was by another teenager - has died of his injuries.

Investigators say Pattonville High School student Michael Aubuchon, of Maryland Heights, was disconnected from life-support
this morning at a Creve Coeur hospital.

Police say the 15-year-old boy was attending a carnival Saturday at a Maryland Heights church when he hit himself on the forehead with his own skateboard. The boy apparently bragged that it didn't hurt and challenged some peers to do it to him. One of the boys
obliged.

The 14-year-old suspect intially was charged with assault. But today after Aubuchon's death, that count was replaced by an involuntary manslaughter charge.
