Three Arrested for Jeweler's Murder

Jefferson County, MO – A 16-year old has been accused of killing a jeweler from Osage Beach, whose body was found this week in Jefferson County.

John Slayton's body was found Sunday near the Jefferson - St. Francois County line.

Slayton's family members say they always
suspected foul play. The jeweler was last seen December 10th in St. Louis County.

Authorities said the murder occurred at D&S Jewelry and Pawn, in Imperial. They said Slayton and the teen reportedly got into an argument and the teen then beat Slayton with a baseball bat.

Michael Davison, 25, of De Soto is charged with tampering with physical evidence. His uncle, Teddy Davison Jr., 39, of Imperial, is charged with tampering with physical evidence and stealing.
