Spanish Lake, MO – A toddler was in a car that was stolen Sunday in suburban Spanish Lake.
The mother told police she was dropping something off for a friend and the car was still on, when someone jumped in and took the car.
The 19-month-old boy was in the backseat of the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, and was found in his car seat near a street in St. Louis city about an hour later.
A resident of a apartment heard the child and alerted police. The boy was not hurt
Police are still looking for the suspect and car.
