New York – One of Harry Truman's notebooks from law school will be on the auction block today in New York City.
Officials at the Truman Museum in the former President's hometown of Independence say it's likely the book will go for much more money than they can afford. Sotheby's expects bids of at least $60,000.
Truman kept the notebook while taking night law classes in the 1920's. He never finished law school.
A Michigan collector bought the book from Sotheby's in 1979, and has had it ever since.
