Jerry Brown, a former star football player at Vashon High School in St. Louis, was killed in a one car accident yesterday in Arlington, Texas.
Brown was a member of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboy’s practice squad.
Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was driving and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter follow the car accident that killed his teammate.
Before the Cowboys, Brown and Brent were teammates for three seasons at the University of Illinois.
Brent was arrested in North Texas Yesterday morning.
Police say he was speeding when he hit a curb and flipped the vehicle he was driving, killing Brown.
