The 113th U.S. Congress has been in session for 5 weeks.  Host Don Marsh checked in with the St. Louis Beacon’s Washington correspondent Rob Koenig to get an update on the activities of the Missouri and Illinois delegations.

The discussion began with a look at Senator Roy Blunt’s take on the use of drones.  Other topics included  the possibility of increased gun control, the confirmation of Chuck Hagel to be Secretary of Defense, immigration reform, the U.S. Postal Service’s intention to stop Saturday delivery, Senator McCaskill’s early endorsement of Hillary Clinton for President, efforts by the Republican party to appeal to the middle class and immigration reform.
