Washington Park, Ill. – The Metro-East village of Washington Park is getting two more strip clubs. That brings the village's strip-club total to six, or about one club for every 500 residents.
Village Trustee Charlie Byrd says Washington Park approved the adult entertainment licenses because it needs the cash. Each license costs about $30,000 a year.
Byrd says the village also will get tens of thousands of dollars each year from a $2-per-person club entry fee that goes to the village.
