St. Louis – The National Weather Service says a small tornado touched down in West St. Louis County Saturday afternoon.
An assessment team surveyed the Des Peres area Sunday. Meteorologists confirmed a twister hit the ground with winds of up to 80 mph.
No one was hurt but power lines and trees were knocked down near the West County mall, and some homes had roof damage.
