Belleville, IL – A St. Clair County grand jury has indicted a 24-year-old East St. Louis resident accused of killing a pregnant woman and cutting the fetus from her womb. The indictment announced today replaces the original complaint against Tiffany Hall. She's accused of first-degree murder in the death of Jimella Tunstall and with the intentional homicide of Tunstall's seven-month-old fetus.

St. Clair County State's Attorney Robert Haida says no decision has been made on whether to seek the death penalty in the case. No charges have been filed in the deaths of Tunstall's three children. Prosecutors say investigators are still awaiting results of pathology tests and other forensic evidence.

Police say Hall led officers to their bodies, which had been stuffed in the washer and dryer of their family's apartment.
