St. Louis Public Radio’s Don Marsh and Linda Lockhart were recently honored by two venerable press associations. Linda was honored as a Living Legend by the Greater St. Louis Association of Black Journalists, while Don was named as one of three Media Persons of the Year by the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis.

St. Louis Public Radio To Host St. Louis County Executive Debate

St. Louis County executive candidates Steve Stenger and Rick Stream will face off in a public debate Oct. 14 hosted by St. Louis Public Radio in partnership with the University of Missouri–St. Louis. It is the first planned debate ahead of the Nov. 4 election.

Today: St. Louis Mayoral Primary Forum

The three candidates for the Democratic nomination for St. Louis mayor will take part in a one-hour town hall forum today. 

St. Louis Public Radio will air the forum, which is the second gathering of the candidates ahead of the March 5th primary election.

In liberal territory like St. Louis, the winner of the Democratic primary in March immediately becomes the presumptive favorite to win the general election on April 2nd.
