A St. Louis-based social media technology company is moving into a much larger space as it prepares to add 300 jobs over the next five years.

LockerDome's headquarters will remain downtown on Washington Avenue, but plans to be in the new space by the end of next year. It will be 18,000 square feet as opposed to the company's current 6,800 square-foot office.

Jay Nixon on Friday took a two-pronged approach -- showing up in St. Louis to promote his 2012 jobs programs while also releasing in advance his latest campaign finance numbers that show him with more than $5 million in the bank.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon is proposing additional training efforts and boosting exports to spur job creation.

Nixon traveled Monday to western Missouri to discuss a development plan he called "Missouri Works." The proposal includes setting up an online information center for Missouri businesses seeking to expand exports. It also suggests opening export offices in Asia and South America.
