The wife and daughter of man killed inside a Walmart store when a massive tornado hit Joplin are suing.

The Joplin Globe reported that the wrongful death lawsuit names Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and the store's manager as defendants. The case, initially filed in Jasper County Circuit Court, was transferred Friday to federal court.

A wrongful death suit has been filed against August Busch IV on behalf of the son of Busch's deceased girlfriend, Adrienne Martin, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

According to the newspaper:

The case, filed in St. Louis County Circuit Court, seeks unspecified damages on behalf of Blake Alexander Martin, age 8. His father, Dr. Kevin Martin, is a plaintiff as his guardian. The suit claims "carelessness and negligence" by Busch.

The family of Sheri Coleman has dropped the wrongful death suit against Coleman's former husband, Christopher Coleman, KMOV reports.

Christopher Coleman is currently charged with three counts of first degree murder after the May 2009 killings of Sheri and their two young sons.
