The first of the four men sentenced in connection with the scandal at St. Louis Metropolitan Towing has reported to prison.

Kenneth Bialczak and his older brother William pleaded guilty in September 2010 to tax evasion. They owned several of the businesses connected to the scandal, including Metropolitan Towing and S&H Parking.

Kenneth Bialczak willserve his sentence first, at the Terra Haute Federal Correction Institution, with a projectedrelease date of Dec. 3. The judge allowed the brothers to serve their sentences separately so their myriad of businesses could continue to operate.

No word on when the other two men sentenced in the scandal - towing lot manager Gregory Shepard or former police officer Kevin Shade - will begin their sentences.
