A 22-year-old St. Louis man has been sentenced to almost 27 years in prison for his role in the multi-million dollar armed robbery of ATM Solutions.

Myron Kimble pleaded guilty in March to armed robbery, kidnapping, and firearms violations. He wasn't present at the August 2, 2010 robbery of the ATM servicing company, which is located at 3721 Grandel Sq. in the Grand Center neighborhood.

But according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

"[Kimble] admitted in March to being present when one of the admitted robbers, John Wesley Jones, 27, talked to an ex-employee of the company by phone about the planned robbery. Kimble also acknowledged helping Jones to conduct surveillance of the business and plot details of how the heist would be carried out. He also showed up at a house at the 4000 block of Page Boulevard, where the robbers were splitting up the loot afterward, and received a $50,000 to $55,000 cut, according to prosecutors."

Kimble was also one of two men who kidnapped the teenaged niece and daughter of Jones's former girlfriend in an effort to secure more of the cash.  Both girls were recovered unharmed.

Jones is serving 32 years in prison for his role in the crimes. Another one of the robbers, Ryechine Money, was sentenced to 19.5 years. Larry Newman, who kidnapped the girls with Kimble, awaits sentencing for his crimes.
