Photos: New Mississippi River Bridge Construction In Action

The Missouri Department of Transportation has released some new photos of construction workers installing the massive cables on the new Mississippi River Bridge. The process of installing those cables is expected to take about a year to complete.

You can check out the photos released by MoDOT above, and see even more on their Flickr page.

A price tag of $667 million accompanies the project and vehicles are expected to begin crossing the bridge in early 2014.
