Representatives for 36 business schools from across the globe are gathering on the campus of Saint Louis University this week for a conference on sustainability and business education.

More than 50 academic papers on sustainable business practices will be presented at the conference, which is focused on Jesuit business schools.

Below is an extended interview with Scott Safranski, interim dean at Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business, and Timothy Keane, executive director of the Emerson Ethics Center, on the conference and how sustainability has been incorporated into business education.

Tim Lloyd was a founding host of We Live Here from 2015 to 2018 and was the Senior Producer of On Demand and Content Partnerships until Spring of 2020.
