"Talk, Toast, Taste" Featuring Missouri Wines


While we are all eager to hear from our guest of honor, Morning Edition host David Greene, at St. Louis Public Radio’s annual dinner, we are equally excited to see what amazing food and wine pairings Chef Colucci concocts!

Unlike your typical restaurant meal, where you might try your hand at choosing a wine that will best match your entrée choice (think white wine with fish, or red wine with beef), at Talk, Toast, Taste the wine takes center stage.

First we gather samples of wines that were grown, crushed, and bottled in Missouri from a number of award-winning areas wineries, including Augusta Winery, Chaumette Vineyard & Winery, Montelle Winery, St. James Winery, and Stone Hill Winery.

We then forward those samples to the capable hands of Four Seasons Executive Chef Giannicola Colucci, who will use them as the inspiration for a four-course menu, pairing each course with the perfect glass of wine.

While we are hoping for a little less excitement this year than last (when we all had to crowd in the basement during a tornado warning!), we are looking forward to a night of great company and great conversation. And, of course, a great meal.
