Spring Has Sprung – and We Need Your Help!
Spring is in the air, and St. Louis Public Radio has plenty of upcoming outdoor volunteer opportunities for those interested in helping out the station.
STLPR is proud to be a sponsor of Belleville’s Art in the Square again. This year the event goes from April 22-24, and we’ll need 12 volunteers to help us man our sponsor booth. You’ll hand out informational materials, talk to interested donors, and share the value of public radio with others.
During the same weekend, St. Louis Public Radio is helping sponsor the Earth Day Festival on the Muny Grounds in Forest Park. We’ll need four to five volunteers to help STLPR’s staff during this event on Sunday, April 24.
If you’re more of an indoor person, and have regular availability, we have an opening for a regular, weekly volunteer to help the development staff as we pack premiums, send mail, and answer phones. The time of day can be flexible, but we’re looking for a regular weekday contributor.
If any (or all!) of these positions are up your alley, email Volunteer Coordinator Zack Stovall at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at 314-516-7481. If you’ve never volunteered with STLPR before, no problem! Just click here to fill out a volunteer application.
