Award Winning 'The Book of Mormon' Comes To St. Louis

“The Book of Mormon”has won nine Tony Awards including best musical and score.

Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, of “South Park” fame, and Robert Lopez share the story of two Mormon missionaries who are assigned to Uganda.  They are tasked with baptizing people of the remote African village to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The national touring company of “The Book of Mormon” is now at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis through March 3rd.

Host Steve Potter talked with cast member Samantha Marie Ware, who plays the character Nabulungi, the first African to accept the Mormon faith.
