St. Louis Bands Join Forces In 'A Rockin' Winter Party' To Benefit Covenant House

Band members performing in Home(s) for the Holidays: A Rockin' Winter Party

Members of local bands Vote for Pedro, My Two Planets and Soul Kiss will be sharing the stage at The Pageant this Sunday to perform a holiday benefit concert.

The concert is a fundraiser for Covenant House Missouri, a St. Louis nonprofit that provides housing and support for children and young adults between the ages of 16 and 21.

"There's a lot of things that kind of ring with this concert," said Ron James, director of development and communication at Covenant House. "One is the idea of the holidays is coming home. That's what a lot of us do, we try to get home...These kids, right now they don't have that."

Most of the music will be holiday-themed cover music, said Eric Wulff, lead singer for Vote for Pedro. The exception is "Somebody Else's Crusade," a song written and performed by Wulf's original band My Two Planets.

Band members performing include Eric Wulff, Jim Ousley, Jeff Faulkner, Paul Kriege, Joe Lange and Jayme O'Brien. A string quartet, the Saint Louis University High School Varsity Chorus and the Villa Duschesne Show Choir will also be performing.
