The Rep, Stages and Actors' Studio top winners at St. Louis' Theater Circle Awards

Each of these 2015 shows won two or more St. Louis Theater Circle Awards.

Each of these 2015 shows won two or more St. Louis Theater Circle Awards.

The Repertory Theater of St. Louis and Stages St. Louis were the top winners among two dozen companies in Monday night’s fourth Theater Circle Awards. Each of the troupes had five wins. Four of Stages’ awards were for the musical “Anything Goes.”

St. Louis Actors' Studio won four awards in all, three of them for “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Opera Theatre St. Louis walked away with three awards, two for "Emmeline."

The Rep’s “All the Way” won Outstanding Production of a Drama. The play chronicles the efforts of President Lyndon Johnson to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The award for Outstanding new Play went to Nancy Bell for “The World Begun,” presented by Shakespeare Festival St. Louis.
