Event Description

An Artist Collects: a personal view.

A reception and tea for Evalyn Rogers, artist, art teacher, former librarian and long-time Monday Club member, will be held on Nov. 3, from 2-4 p.m. at The Monday Club of Webster Groves. Following the opening, the show will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 & 11 a.m., and by appointment Sundays from 2 & 4 p.m. When Evalyn retired as school librarian at John Burroughs School, she focused her life-long love of art and art making on the arts groups at the Monday Club. For a little over 18 years, she curated art exhibits for the club, often purchasing works from local and regional artists. Join us as we celebrate her art, her art collection, and her birthday on November 3. The Monday Club is located at 37 S. Maple, Webster Groves, Mo.
