City Investigates Whether Porn Star Stripped at Event

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, MO – The city of St. Louis is investigating whether federal money was used to hire a gay-porn actor to perform at a safe sex event.

Two former employees of Blacks Assisting Blacks Against AIDS, or BABAA, say the actor, Edgar Gaines (aka Bobby Blake), stripped and engaged in sexual contact with guests, some as young as 13 years old.

A lawyer for the group says it paid $500 to the actor to speak to a gathering at its executive director's home, but that the actor did not strip or allow himself to be touched.

BABAA paid the actor from a $96,000 dollar grant from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta.
