MO Budget Hits Higher Education

Jefferson City –

The Missouri Senate wrapped up its work on the state budget Wednesday night.

Included in that spending plan is a budget for the state's colleges and universities that's $84 million less than what lawmakers appropriated last year.

As Missy Shelton reports from Jefferson City, the debate over higher education funding, like most issues fell along partisan lines.
