Washington, DC – New campaign disclosure reports show Missouri Senator Kit Bond now has $4 million with which to run for reelection.
His Democratic opponent, Treasurer Nancy Farmer, has less than half a million. Farmer says she has no intention of raising as much money as Bond. She just hopes to get her ideas to the voters.
Farmer has more than $380,000 in reserve for the race. Bond raised $1.5 million from July through last month.
Farmer announced her U.S. Senate candidacy on July 25th. For the reporting period she raised $413,000.
