Clayton, MO – A 14-year-old St. Louis area boy will spend at least a year in a group home after for causing another teen's death by hitting him on the head with a skateboard.
The boy was charged in St. Louis County Family Court following the September death of 15-year-old Michael Aubuchon. Authorities say Aubuchon hit himself on the forehead at least twice with his skateboard at a church event. He then handed the skateboard to another boy and encouraged that teen to hit him.
The suspect obliged; Aubuchon died four days later.
