Jefferson City, MO – Ralph Nader won't be on Missouri's ballot in November because he missed the deadline for appealing a recent decision.
That decision from Missouri Secretary of State Matt Blunt said supporters of the independent presidential candidate failed to submit enough valid signatures to qualify.
The Nader campaign had until Friday to appeal that ruling and did not do so.
Nader still could submit paperwork to qualify as a valid write-in candidate. The deadline for that is October 22nd. People then would have to add him to their ballots to vote for him.
