Threatening Note Closes Collinsville High

By Tom Weber, KWMU

St. Louis, MO – Collinsville High School in the Metro-East is closed today (Friday).

Police there are investigating a threatening note that someone found. Staff, though, are to report.

Collinsville High will reopen on Tuesday, following a holiday on Monday.

All other schools in the Collinsville Unit 10 district are open as scheduled.

An announcement on the district's website stresses that the move is only precautionary. Anyone who knows anything about the threat is asked to call the Collinsville Police Department (618-344-2131).
