St. Louis, MO – Trains are running back to normal this morning (Tuesday) on Metrolink.
Service was interrupted Monday after some wires were knocked over. A backhoe working near Forest Park hit a utility pole.
That forced riders to take buses between the Wellston and Central West End station.
But Metrolink spokeswoman Adella Jones says crews worked through the night to make the fix, and everything was running 100% Tuesday morning.
A number of passengers were kept inside one train Monday for more than an hour because crews were worried about live wires. One man suffered a seizure during that wait.
