St. Louis, MO – The local NAACP wants to know who put up billboards in St. Louis that say supporting four amendments to the city government equals support for the Confederate Flag. The flag is also on the billboards.
The NAACP has filed a complaint with the Missouri Ethics Commission; it calls the billboards outrageous and wants them gone immediately.
St. Louis voters will decide in November if they support changes to city government. Supporters say it will streamline government. Opponents think they'll reduce citizens' rights to have their say.
