Jefferson City, MO – Missourians will be able to write-in Ralph Nader's name for President on Tuesday.
The state certified Nader on Thursday as a write-in candidate. He won't appear on ballots, but any written-in votes will count.
Votes for other write in candidates who haven't been certified won't count.
Nader simply had to submit paperwork to the Secretary of State's office by the deadline declaring his intent to be a write-in candidate. Earlier, his supporters submitted signatures to place him on the ballot as an independent. But state officials said there weren't enough valid signatures to qualify.
