St. Louis, MO – The Rams beat the Jets 32-29 in overtime on Sunday, which earned them a spot in the playoffs. They will play in Seattle on Saturday.

Jeff Wilkins hit a 31-yard field goal with just over three minutes left in overtime. Had the game ended in a tie, the Rams would not have made the post-season. They also needed Minnesota to lose to make the playoffs.

Quarterback Marc Bulger threw for 450 yards and three touchdowns.

New York's Curtis Martin ran for 153 yards, enough to boost him into fourth place on the NFC career rushing list.

The Rams finished the season 8-8, good enough for their fourth trip to the playoffs in five years under coach Mike Martz.
