Video games have come a long way since Pac-Man and Pong.
Players can now steal cars and slaughter aliens, which has officials in both Illinois and Missouri considering bans on some sales.
A new proposal in Jefferson City would ban the sale of violent video games to minors.
It's similar to a plan that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been pushing for a few months now.
But as Illinois Public Radio's Doug Smith reports, the plan has some lawmakers concerned.
