Hillsboro, MO – Two teenagers died last night after the pickup truck they were riding in hit an ambulance in the Jefferson County, Mo. town of Hillsboro.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Paul Phillips, 18, of Pevely and a passenger in his pickup truck, Brittany Warren, 18, of Festus died.
There were also four people in the ambulance who were hurt and taken to hospitals with slight to moderate injuries.
The patrol says Phillips was westbound when he drove the truck into the patch of the northbound ambulance, which had its emergency lights and sirens in use.
