NLRB Says Musicians' Strike Is Illegal
By AP / KWMU
St. Louis, MO – Symphony management tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the NLRB will issue a formal complaint against the musicians' union and seek a federal court injunction if the strike is not called off.
The musicians have maintained they were locked out.
The symphony has been shut down since January 3. Last week, musicians refused to even vote on management's latest offer, instead directing bargainers to go back to the table.
Salary is the main sticking point.
