Freeburg, Ill. teen dies hours after graduation


Freeburg, Ill. – A teenager in Freeburg, Ill. died in a car crash late Sunday night, just hours after she was graduated from high school.

Jennifer Reitzell, 18, was killed and two others were seriously injured when the car they were in hit a tree and a bridge support along a road in unincorporated St. Clair County.

Reitzell was a cheerleader and this year's prom queen at Freeburg High School. She had been planning to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau in the fall.
