Police arrest man in connection with janitor's murder

St. Louis – Authorities have made an arrest following the weekend slaying of a maintenance worker in Clayton.

Sixty-one-year-old Lowry Terry is accused of killing his friend, 49-year-old Tim Welch. Terry was arrested Sunday night in Louisville, Kentucky.

Terry faces criminal charges for the alleged use of Welch's credit card. Murder charges are expected today.

Detectives say the two men went out Friday night, then returned to a Clayton law firm that they'd cleaned earlier.

Police say the men had an argument, and that's when Terry shot Welch in the head, and then drove off in the victim's rental car.
