St. Louis, MO – MO-DOT will get to work Tuesday on a stretch of road called Death Valley.
Crews will start digging and removing trees with the goal of adding shoulders and straightening out Highway MM in Jefferson County.
The project will focus on a windy mile-long stretch near Sycamore Springs Drive, which is located about half-way between Highways 21 and 30. It's expected to take a year to finish.
