St. Louis – The family of a man who died when his car was struck by a suspect fleeing St. Louis police are planning to sue the city and police department.
The Reverend Nathaniel Cole was killed on February 13th in north St. Louis when three men in a car being chased by police slammed head-on into his vehicle.
Cole's wife, Annie, was injured in the accident and the man driving the other car also died. One of his passengers has been charged with second-degree murder.
Next week, Cole's family will file a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit against the Board of Police Commissioners for St. Louis, the police officers involved and the city.
