St. Louis – The Riverview Gardens School Board voted to fire Superintendent Henry Williams on Thursday.

The unanimous vote followed an eight-hour, closed-door hearing.

Authorities say Williams took money from the North St. Louis County district for his own personal use.

In March, prosecutors charged him with felony theft and tax evasion.
